Tara Klamm
Director/Instructor
Tara Klamm is originally from the Kansas City, MO area, where she began dancing at the age of 2 at White Oak Dance Academy. After taking several years off to try gymnastics, she began her classical ballet training at age 12 under Melissa Morris of Blue Springs Ballet Centre. She was a member of the pre-professional Blue Springs Ballet Company for 3 years, performing in many works including the Nutcracker and Cinderella. She attended summer intensive workshops with Irina Lebedeva and Dmitri Roudnev of Ballet Intensive from Moscow. While in high school, she taught ballet for over 2 years at Center Stage Performing Arts in Odessa, MO.
She attended Belhaven College in Jackson, MS and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2008. At Belhaven she also studied ballet and modern dance under Stephen and Britta Wynne and Laura Morton. During her time in college, she worked in a performing arts medicine clinic, dealing primarily with the treatment and prevention of dance injuries. In the spring of 2009, she began Radiance Ballet Ministry, teaching ballet classes with a Christian emphasis. She has also taught at Kaleidoscope Dance Academy since 2009. She completed the teachers' intensive training course at Ballet Magnificat in 2011 and 2020.
She married her wonderful husband, Matt, in 2005. They have three beautiful daughters who are all aspiring dance artists at Radiance! They are members of Fellowship Bible Church and love serving the Lord together!
Andrea Fowler
Assistant Director/Instructor
Andrea Fowler is the Assistant Director of Radiance Ballet in Centerton. She has an extensive dance background with emphasis in contemporary and tap. She danced competitively for more than 10 years on the local, regional and national level and is a former instructor for Universal Dance Association. She is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and a former high school science teacher. She and her husband, Kyle, along with their 3 children are planting The Summit Church in NWA and reside in Centerton.
She began dancing at age 4 at Little Rock School of Dance under the instruction of Sheila Vaught, studying ballet, tap & jazz. From age 5-12 she studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical-modern at Paragould Dance Academy under the instruction of Ray Lynn Green. She was also a corps dancer with Eastern Arkansas Ballet performing numerous dance roles in their annual production of The Nutcracker. She was runner-up Jr. Miss Dance of Tennessee in 1996. In addition, she danced for two years at the Christie McNeill Dance Studio in Jonesboro, Arkansas with emphasis in tap, jazz & contemporary. Her competition background includes awards at the state and national level in Arkansas, Tennessee, Florida & Texas including invitations to study in New York and perform at Walt Disney World. She has eight years of experience in pom, kick, jazz, hip hop and contemporary, three of which were at the instructor level in Arkansas, Texas, Alabama & Oklahoma.-
Keegan Putnam
Instructor
Keegan Putnam was born and raised in Port St Lucie, Florida. She moved to Louisville, Kentucky to study Biblical Counseling at Boyce College. Post graduation in May of 2024, she moved to Pea Ridge, Arkansas to be near her family.
Keegan started dancing at the age of 2 and danced all throughout lower elementary school, middle school, and high school. For the majority of her dancing she danced at Amazing Grace School of Dance in Florida. Once she entered high school, she started teaching ballet there. Keegan continued to teach ballet once she moved for college at Bella Ballet in Kentucky.
Keegan is trained in ballet, tap, and contemporary.
Keegan also works at Couture Bridal in Rogers helping brides find their dream wedding dress. In her free time she loves to read and spend time with her friends and family. Above all Keegan is a proud follower of Christ and is passionate about her love for him. One of her greatest desires is to teach girls how to worship their Savior through dance.
Lisa Barnett
Instructor
Lisa Barnett was born in Arizona, where she took ballet and tap classes from ages 3-5 years old under Ames Alma Delores at the Alma Dolores International Dance Centre in Sierra Vista, AZ. She quit dancing for several years to try gymnastics and then acting classes but started taking ballet again at the age of 12 under Tara Klamm at Kaleidescope Dance Academy in Bentonville. She performed in a local production of the Nutcracker in high school and continued to train under Tara Klamm all throughout high school, following her to Radiance Ballet.
She attended John Brown University in Siloam Springs and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a TESOL endorsement in 2019. At JBU she co-lead a dance ministry on campus using a mix of ballet and contemporary styles. From 2019-2021 she taught ballet at Radiance, and she taught summer ballet classes in 2022 and 2023 in Dallas, TX at The King's Academy. She taught academics at two Christian schools in Pre-K and Elementary grades from 2020-2023.
Lisa married her sweet husband, Joshua, in 2021. She has lived in six states, and just recently moved back to NWA. She and Joshua love hiking, kayaking, and are excited to serve the Lord together in NWA.
Amber Casey
Instructor
Amber Casey was born and raised in NWA. She has been homeschooled, graduated in Spring 2022 and is currently taking classes through Ligonier Connect.
She has been dancing with Mrs. Tara for 8 years and teaching for 3 years at Radiance Ballet and is grateful to use and teach dance to glorify God.
She is currently a part-time youth ministry intern with her church and a barista at Airship Coffee. In her free-time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family and friends.
Allie Cease
Instructor
Allie Cease is originally from Bentonville, AR and started dancing at the age of 3. She trained in ballet for about 17 years, studied tap for 2 years and jazz for 2 years.
She has attended several dance conventions including one from Oklahoma Dance Masters Association. Allie has trained in the Cecchetti method under Beth Hickman and Kristina Morrison. She has taken and passed Grades 1, 2, and 3 of Cecchetti. She has also trained in the Vaganova method in her most recent years under Tara Klamm.
In December of 2013 Allie received an Associate of Arts Degree from NorthWest Arkansas Community College and in May of 2016 received a 2-year Ministerial Training Certificate from Rhema Bible Training College. Allie now resides in the Northwest Arkansas region with her husband. They have one daughter and two sons.
Claire Bowden
Instructor
Claire Bowden is from Centerton, Arkansas and started dancing at the age of 4. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and modern dance over 15 years. She trained in ballet under Mrs. Tara for 5 years and has enjoyed teaching at Radiance since 2021.
She is currently a waitress at Oven & Tap in downtown Bentonville and is a member at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Grace Higley
Instructor
Grace Higley is from Bentonville, Arkansas, and has been dancing since the age of 7. She has studied ballet for 9 years and contemporary for 2 years. She has studied under Mrs. Tara Klamm and Mrs. Andrea Fowler for the past 7 years.
Aside from dance, Grace enjoys hiking, writing, and being with people she loves.
She is attending John Brown University and pursuing a degree in English education and journalism. Through dance, Grace is excited to share the love and joy of Christ.
Kylie Klamm
Instructor
Kylie Klamm was born near Jackson, Mississippi, and was raised in Northwest Arkansas. She began ballet under her mother, Mrs. Tara, when she was a toddler. She continued to dance at Kaleidoscope Dance Academy and then at Radiance Ballet when it opened in 2014. As she grew older, she discovered her passion for musical theatre and has been able to use her dance training in the art.
Kylie has taken ballet for fifteen years under Mrs. Tara, and tap for two years under Mrs. Andrea. She has taken numerous workshops, intensives, and master classes from dancers and staff from Ballet Magnificat, Ad Deum Dance, Dramatic Truth, Washington Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, NYC Ballet, John Brown University, Perry Ryan Theater Company, and Manhattan Concert Productions.
Now going into her senior year of high school, Kylie plans to continue to study the arts and use her gifts to glorify God and spread the light of Jesus!
